Welcome to Ruby Major Elementary School
TCAP Testing for 3rd and 4th grade
TCAP test will be given April 30-May 7 this year. Test scores are important since they are a part of 3rd and 4th grade students’ final grade. We have the computer lab open on Monday and Wednesday until 4p.m. for 3rd and 4th graders to practice TCAP skills using Study Island and typing practice. All students can login and work on Study Island and Type to Learn at home, also. We are having a contest and any student who receives blue ribbons on every skill in all four areas math, reading, science, and social studies with 80% mastery will receive a $5 Wal-Mart card. Students who have 70% mastery in Science and Social Studies will participate in a pizza party, ice cream and an extra recess.
2014-2015 Kindergarten Registration
Registration for our newest Kindergartners will be held the week of March 31- April 4 from 9:00- 2:00. You may register at Ruby Major or the Enrollment Center at McGavock High School.

Thank you to everyone who sent in Box Tops during our collection time. RME PTO will receive over $800 dollars. Our winning classroom was Mrs. Scott’s class with a whopping 1,366 box tops. Mrs. Mann’s class was second with 880 tops. Don’t forget to ask friends and families to save their box tops. They really add up and will benefit our school.
